A public relations expert turned Strategic Marketing Copywriter who can't let go of her maiden name —and there you have PicaNuge Productions.

Ever heard of the 5Ws? That's my forte.

I partner with brands I personally enjoy, and genuinely care about helping consumers understand what they are buying.

I have thrived in team environments all my life—whether it be playing college lacrosse, rocking the role of soccer coach, or working on a cross-functional marketing team. You'll usually find me behind a literary page-turner or in a used bookstore. Researching finance hacks or fashion trends. Solving any kind of puzzle—1,000-piecers, sudokus, or email subject lines. I’m not a regular nerd, I’m a cool nerd.

I'm the rare copywriter who knows what to ask, why and when to ask it. For what feels like a lifetime, my career—both public relations and copywriting—has focused on asking questions: whether it be gathering information from clients in order to craft unique stories, or asking and being asked an insane amount of questions by the media. (This has also crept into my personal life and my husband doesn't love it.)

Hi, welcome.

I'm Lacy Pica Nugent, I elevate and advance lifestyle, beauty, and fashion brands with authentic storytelling and SEO-driven copy. A unique background in public relations has given me the ability to communicate with target audiences in a way that inspires action and engagement.
